🗸 GOODYEAR WELTED
🗸 FULL LEATHER BUILD
🗸 MADE IN SPAIN
A sophisticated expression of European craftsmanship, this Medium Brown Cognac Split Toe Derby is handmade in Spain from light-burnished hand-painted calf leather and built using traditional Goodyear welted construction. The warm cognac tone is enriched with subtle burnishing, creating a natural depth that highlights the contours of the shoe.
The split-toe apron gives the design its refined character, combining artisanal detail with the relaxed elegance of open-lacing Derby construction. It is a versatile choice for tailored separates, business-casual dressing, autumn suiting and elevated weekend wear.
Built on Poyter’s Cassius Last, the shoe blends classic elegance with a slightly squared toe, giving the silhouette balance, versatility and quiet authority. Finished with a traditional leather sole and full leather lining, it is crafted for comfort, longevity and recraftability. This is a richly coloured statement of understated luxury, designed to develop an even more personal patina over time.
We are committed to using only the finest materials, with a focus on quality and durability. Our shoes are meticulously handcrafted in Spain from Premium Italian calf leather, responsibly sourced from gold-rated tanneries in Spain and Italy.

Poyter was founded on the belief that true luxury in footwear is quiet, deliberate, and enduring. It is defined not by logos or trends, but by proportion, balance, and the assurance of shoes made properly for the long term. British in spirit, Poyter draws from the restraint of classic English shoemaking, refined through a modern lens. Our Ready to Wear and Made to Order collections are crafted in Spain, where generations of expertise meet contemporary precision and exacting standards.
