🗸 GOODYEAR WELTED
🗸 FULL LEATHER BUILD
🗸 MADE IN SPAIN
A refined alternative to the traditional black Oxford, this Burgundy Oxford Cap Toe is handmade in Spain from premium hand-painted calf leather and constructed using traditional Goodyear welted methods. Its closed-lacing construction and clean cap toe maintain formal elegance, while the burgundy finish introduces depth, individuality and quiet distinction.
The hand-painted leather is carefully burnished to create tonal variation across the toe, facings and heel, giving the shoe a rich patina effect that feels artisanal rather than uniform. It is particularly well suited to navy tailoring, charcoal suiting, weddings and elevated occasion wear.
Built on Poyter’s Cassius Last, it blends classic elegance with a slightly squared toe, delivering a versatile profile for professional and smart-casual occasions. A leather sole with integrated rubber grip adds discreet practicality, while full leather lining and Goodyear welted construction ensure comfort, durability and future recrafting.
We are committed to using only the finest materials, with a focus on quality and durability. Our shoes are meticulously handcrafted in Spain from Premium Italian calf leather, responsibly sourced from gold-rated tanneries in Spain and Italy.

Poyter was founded on the belief that true luxury in footwear is quiet, deliberate, and enduring. It is defined not by logos or trends, but by proportion, balance, and the assurance of shoes made properly for the long term. British in spirit, Poyter draws from the restraint of classic English shoemaking, refined through a modern lens. Our Ready to Wear and Made to Order collections are crafted in Spain, where generations of expertise meet contemporary precision and exacting standards.
